pocus:

Pekka Haavisto of the Green League, openly gay and liberal. A wonderful speaker, articulate and opinionated. Smart and highly qualified. Done a long career in foreign policy. One of the eight presidential canditates in Finland. Currently holds second place in the polls. I hope he becomes our next president. He’d bring change. He’d be our ”Obama”.

Aaaand he’s in the second round! GO PEKKA!

Now, I know that in the past I’ve talked a lot about how much I’d like to move out of my hometown. I’d like to point out it’s got nothing to do with the town itself. Actually, what comes to surroundings, I think Jyväskylä tops all the other medium-ish sized towns. Especially around this time of the year, when the town is full of light art. If it doesn’t rain tonight, I’m going out photographing the closest light installations. These photos are by Juhana Konttinen
